She is a graduate of the Free University of Berlin, GERMANY, Goethe German Language Institute, Rothenburg, GERMANY, and California State University at Hayward, CALIFORNIA. She is from an exclusive line of perfumers in New Orleans, and has also studied the art of perfuming in Paris, France and Berlin, Germany.
In December of 2003 Madam Thelma received a long distance telephone call from a doctor in The Philippines. He stated that for his wife's birthday he wanted to give her a special perfume from the Sampaguita flower and asked Madam Thelma to create the fragrance for his wife. Madam Thelma responded to the challenge.
